what you’ll do:- identify, manage, and mitigate risks while ensuring proactive solutions
- financial management: manage and protect project budget, manage subcontracts and invoicing, manage change order process, prepare cost reports and work‑in‑progress forecast reports in a timely manner for management.
- ensure quality and safety standards are in compliance with applicable specifications and laws.
- act as the point of contact for stakeholders, internally and externally, through all project phases.
- mentor and train project engineers, fostering their professional growth
- expand business growth with new and existing clients
- complete other duties as assigned
- 7+ years of project management and estimating experience in civil construction
- 7+ years of experience in scheduling and management of project timelines
- proven track record of meeting project budgets or exceeding profit margins
- strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities
- excellent verbal and written communication
- 3+ years of direct supervisory and leadership experience
- bachelor’s degree preferred plus minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience or 12 years of equivalent experience. Construction management degree is preferred, other degrees acceptable with relevant experience
- proficient in microsoft software – ms project
- experience with trimble software is a plus; vista viewpoint, b2w estimate/track/schedule
- experience with plan take‑off software such as on‑screen take‑off and revu bluebeam
- $115.000 to $165,000
