Property Manager
Salary: $85,000 to $87,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday

The property manager is responsible for the overall operations of the property. This includes ensuring efficient operations, overseeing supplier contracts, maintenance, lease administration, and monthly reporting. This position also creates a positive experience for the residents, associates, and clients.
Responsibilities- Manage day‑to‑day operations, resident satisfaction and retention, full resident lifecycle activities (lease administration, rent collection, delinquency management), property P&L, and property marketing according to company standards.
- Meet client expectations and provide excellent customer service.
- Recruit, interview, give corrective feedback, and hire staff.
- Create a climate where associates want to do their best by leading, communicating a shared vision, coaching, and development.
- Execute strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents.
- Understand operations guidelines established in the property management agreement.
- Respond to resident complaints and issues, serve as liaison with corporate office regarding maintenance and enforcement of rules.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, personal networks.
- Organize and implement site disaster and emergency evacuation plans.
- Manage property and associate safety records, property loss claims, risk management initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2–3 years of property management experience required.
- 1–2 years of direct management experience required.
- Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
- Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
- Knowledge of preferred.
- Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or equivalent system preferred.
- Real Page and One Site experience required.
- Very strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Sensitivity to confidential matters.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment with urgency.
- Ability to relay technical concerns with adequate detail, quickly and accurately.
- Capability to read, write, comprehend, and converse in English.
- Ability to use general office equipment (telephone, fax, printer, copier, key‑track system).
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others.
- Ability to defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, current auto insurance required.
