Shipping Dock Loader

Summary:

This position will be responsible for pulling, packing, and sorting items for shipping and loading. The role works in a non‑climate‑controlled environment on the shipping dock and in the warehouse.

• Accurately pulls, fills, packs, and sets up orders for delivery or pickup
• Assists in loading the delivery truck
• Assists in keeping the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently
• Lift 50‑75 lbs safely throughout the workday using teamwork

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior experience in distribution or warehousing preferred

• Knowledge of basic warehouse principles and practices
• Ability to work with a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and more than 50 lbs using a team‑lift
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to climb a ladder or stairs
• Good hand‑eye coordination
• Ability to reach outward and work above shoulders
• Ability to use wrist (flexion/extension) and grasp (forceful)
• Ability to have fine manipulation with both hands

This position involves standing, walking, and lifting for long periods throughout the day. It requires grasping and fine finger manipulation on both hands, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. The plant is not climate controlled. Noise levels can become high. Hearing protection is provided. The work is performed in an area where forklifts are active.
