Summary
This position uses the router to cut holes into the sections.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret work orders and blueprints
- Check inventory and locate needed section
- Insert parts into the routing machine
- Unpack the sections
- Check sections for quality and size
- Use the motorized router to cut holes for the glass inserts
- Remove the metal cut-outs
- Place routed section on a cart for the glazier to assemble
- Maintain a clean and safe working area
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 6 months of transferable experience
- Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and more than 50 lbs using a team-lift
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Good hand-eye coordination

This position involves standing, walking, and lifting for long periods of time. It requires grasping and fine finger manipulation on both hands. The position requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. The plant is not climate-controlled. Noise levels can become high. Hearing protection is provided and required in the department.
