Operations Manager, Production Manager
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to join the S&S Operations Team based out of Puyallup, Washington on 2nd shift.
As a member of the Leadership team you will continuously lead and develop Manufacturing Teams. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate a One BPS culture, driving a deep understanding of the One BPS principles, standards, production health and problem‑solving model.
Position Responsibilities- Leads by demonstrating and holding all accountable to the Boeing Values and Behaviors.
- Promotes employee engagement and builds an organizational culture that fosters safety and quality performance, improves employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Leads employees performing activities incorporating change into electrical assemblies and wire bundles.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports across shifts.
- Understands electrical build processes.
- Understands change implementation.
Basic First‑Line Leader Assessment:
To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.
- 3+ years of experience in Aerospace Manufacturing Environment.
- 3+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large-scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) or have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”.
- 3+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS).
- 3+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data.
- 3+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership.
- Conflict of Interest:

The Boeing Company provides a Total Rewards package that includes competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work. The summary pay range is $119,000 - $161,000. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
