Job Description

Operate machinery designed to perform a specific portion of the production process for Carlisle Companies Incorporated. Assist Operators II and III on packing and end‑of‑line work, and as needed. Work 40 hours a week with occasional overtime; no travel required.

Job Summary

Supported duties include operating assigned machinery, reviewing work, communicating material requirements, monitoring machine performance, performing hazard‑based functions such as lock‑out/tag‑out, sorting and bundling material, housekeeping, data recording for quality control, achieving production goals, assisting with quality checks, and providing support to Operators II & III as needed. Other duties as required.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery of assigned department to complete assigned work
  • Receive and review work
  • Communicate the required amount of material needed to perform tasks to others
  • Continuously observe machine operation to ensure optimal performance of standard work within assigned department
  • Perform hazard‑based functions on machinery, including lock‑out/tag‑out and daily equipment checks
  • Stack, sort, and bundle material according to assigned department’s standard
  • Perform occasional housekeeping tasks, 5S, and SQDC
  • Record data of manufactured material for quality control and improvement
  • Achieve production goals while complying with all safety requirements
  • Assist with quality checks to verify proper parameters are adhered to
  • Assist Operators II & III on packaging and end‑of‑line work, and as needed
  • Other duties as required
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Highly motivated with a sound work ethic
  • Demonstrate safe working practices and possess great attention to detail

  • Good communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Basic computer, mathematics, and problem‑solving skills; ability to use a

Education And Experience

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting
Working Conditions
  • Fast‑paced manufacturing environment with exposure to ambient/outside temperatures, dust, mechanical parts, pinch points, and increased noise levels
  • Hours worked: 8‑10 hours per shift, varying by shift schedule and business needs
  • Flexible to overtime and weekend hours as required
  • Work with heavy, stationary machinery
  • Use of radio, calculator, and measuring devices
  • Use of hand tools and computer (Shop Floor and ERP)

Per the state’s Wage Transparency Act, the range for this position is $26.33–$27.33. Actual salary could be greater based on education, experience, and other qualifying skill sets.
