Production Assembler- Thermatech​/2nd Shift

Job Summary

Assembles precut steel garage door sections using hand and power tools. May be required to perform functions of other jobs within the department.

• Obtain work orders and production schedule and assemble materials accordingly.
• Install rubberized seal onto edge of sections.
• Install end cap onto sections.
• Stack sections including running sections through banding machine.
• Perform quality assurance inspection.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• No previous experience required; some transferable experience preferred.

• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Able to lift 50-75 lbs safely.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time (10-12 hour days).
• Good hand-eye coordination.

This position is in our manufacturing plant. It involves standing, walking, and lifting for long periods throughout the day and requires repetitive motion of arms, shoulders, wrists, and hands. The plant is not climate-controlled and will require the employee to dress appropriately. Noise levels can become high; hearing protection is provided and required.

Tape Measure, Hand Tools.

Full-time. Hourly pay range $19.00–$21.42.
