This is a full-time on-site position for an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at Life Care Centers of America's facility in Puyallup, WA. The ADON will support the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, maintaining compliance with health and safety protocols, coordinating patient care plans, overseeing infection control programs, and ensuring long-term care standards are met.
Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and improve processes is a key element of this role.
- Proven experience and expertise in Nursing and Long-term Care, with a valid state RN license.
- Strong skills in Nursing Management and the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Proficiency in Infection Control and implementing health and safety protocols to ensure patient well-being.
- Knowledge and experience in Medicine, with the ability to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare environment is a plus.
