Clinic hours.
The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) functions independently when utilizing the nursing process and is responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating and delegating nursing functions across the lifespan. The RN collaborates with patients, families/significant others, Physicians/APPs, patient care staff, leadership and community partners. This role supports Multi Care’s journey to become a best-in-class nursing organization and fosters an environment where nurses are involved in clinical decision-making, stay connected, and develop professionally.
Responsibilities- Utilizes the nursing process as a systematic problem-solving approach to nursing care, facilitating an optimal level of functioning and health for the patient.
- Independently triages patients in person, via telephone and secure messages, utilizing protocols, guidelines, and standards.
- Uses critical thinking in decisions regarding patient care, including knowledge and integration of relevant standards, resources, and data.
- Uses assessment and analysis skills in delivering medical regimens as directed by physicians and APPs.
- Delegates selected patient care functions to others in accordance with education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
- Collaborates with the clinic team to improve quality of care, patient experience and stewardship.
- Fosters a learning environment for patients, families, and health care team members.
- Advocates for ethical and holistic care promoting autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 25+ years of service may be considered in lieu of education agreement.
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
- Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL).
- Current BLS Certification.
- Advanced Life Support certification may be required after hire, depending on assigned clinic site.
- Two years of experience as an RN in a clinic setting preferred; candidates with less than two years may be considered for Transition to Practice Program.

Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. Pay range: $45.62 - $65.66 USD, with pay influenced by experience, certifications, and education. If applicable, pay aligns with union contracts.
