Join our team as a Travel Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (RN‑PCU) in Puyallup, WA. You will work in a dynamic environment at the facility, known for its comprehensive range of essential medical services, including a Level III trauma center and specialized care in heart and vascular care, neurology, and orthopedics. As a Registered Nurse in the PCU, you will be responsible for providing high‑quality care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized nursing care.
To qualify, you must have an active RN license, at least two years of PCU experience, and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR). Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Experience with progressive care protocols and patient monitoring is essential.

- Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of Progressive Care Unit experience
- Active RN license (compact accepted, copy required)
- Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – copy required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – copy required
- Certificate–NIH Stroke Scale – copy required
- Other required identifications: SSN, date of birth, and references (1 reference within the last 12 months)
- PCU skills checklist within the last 12 months
- Willingness to float to Emergency Department, hold, and etc.
- Technical competencies: cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, lumbar drains, tracheostomy management, and IV medication titration (Amiodarone, Cardizem, nitro, dopamine, dobutamine, non‑DKA insulin, heparin, sometimes Cardene)
- Previous travel nursing experience
