American Traveler is hiring an LPN with psychiatric experience for an outpatient behavioral health clinic in Puyallup, WA, requiring Epic proficiency and WA state or compact LPN licensure.
Requirements- Current WA state or compact LPN license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in any psychiatric setting
- Current BLS certification required
- CPI or MOAB certification required
- Epic (Hyperspace) Ambulatory proficiency required — any version accepted
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook required
- Experience with injections, including long-acting antipsychotics, required
- Phlebotomy skills required
- Experience with refill coordination and prior authorizations required
- Skills in rooming patients and medication reconciliation required
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- At least one supervisor-level reference (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, or above) required for consideration, with a second reference required prior to start
- Outpatient behavioral health clinic setting
- Medical Services unit focused on ambulatory psychiatric care
- Patient population includes those with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Persistent Depressive Disorder, Bipolar I & II, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), PTSD, OCD, ADHD, Schizophrenia (stable/outpatient), Schizoaffective Disorder, Delusional Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Avoidant Personality Disorder, and Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder
- Scheduled for 6-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 0800–1430
- 24 hours per week
- No floating required
- No weekend rotation
- No on-call requirements
- Facility is closed on major holidays
- Uses Epic (Hyperspace) Ambulatory — any version accepted
- Responsibilities include administering injections (including long-acting antipsychotics), performing phlebotomy, coordinating medication refills, managing prior authorizations, rooming patients, and performing medication reconciliation
- Candidate will also handle phone work and use Outlook for communication
- Candidates will be interviewed via Simpli Fi Clinical Interviewing
- Scrub color is any solid color, or business casual attire is acceptable
- Facility is closed on major holidays — no holiday coverage required
