Position SummaryThe Cardiovascular Technologist III plays a critical role on the Multi Care Pulse Heart Institute team, providing technical support during a variety of diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures. The role focuses on ensuring quality care, with a primary emphasis on the comfort and well‑being of patient and family.
Key Responsibilities- Perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Registered Nurse.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in the assigned procedure room.
- Complete Cath Lab specific documentation.
- Assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipment.
- Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification, or enrollment in the second year of an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist program.
- RCIS certification or commitment to obtain within six months of employment.
- Current AHA, BLS and ACLS CPR certifications at time of hire.
- Proof of a safe driving record meeting Multi Care standards.
- Opportunity and encouragement to complete the 12‑week Computer‑Based Cath Lab Orientation module to become registry ready.
Full Time Equivalency: 1.0 FTE;
Days – 4 × 10‑hour shifts + call;
Variable start times between 06:00 and 08:00 to accommodate department needs.
Competitive salary range: $47.25 – $78.09 per hour, based on skill set, experience and certifications. Additional benefits include:
