Overview
The Freight Flow Lead has a direct impact on both the execution of brand standards and the teammate experience. With guidance from the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is the in‑store expert of their business or department. The Lead delivers outstanding customer service, provides direction to teammates as their immediate point of contact and coach, and leads by example with empathy, resilience, optimism, and collaboration.
They help build and hire a strong team, observe in‑store interviews and department tours, and create a people‑first culture that builds mutual trust and respect. The Lead plans, organizes, and controls the 30‑day schedule with the Assistant Store Manager, builds effective workforce solutions, and ensures brand standards, programs, and processes are executed daily.
Key responsibilities include supervising the store in alignment with company policies and procedures, opening and closing the store, performing front‑end and cash office functions, and processing firearms sales in compliance with state and federal ATF regulations where applicable. The Lead upholds merchandising and presentation standards, trains teammates on company procedures, and mentors employees by teaching the underlying purpose of tasks and processes.
They support the organization’s vision by helping teammates comprehend how their responsibilities align with common goals and by creating an inclusive, welcoming, and safe environment for all teammates and customers.
