Job Summary
Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Greeting customers, answering phones, taking orders, and preparing pizza while providing excellent customer service.
This position pays $17.13–$17.50 per hour, plus tips. Paid sick leave is provided per WA State law. Qualifying full‑time employees are eligible for employer‑sponsored medical benefits.
Responsibilities- Operate all equipment
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler
- Prepare product
- Receive and process telephone orders
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- Clean equipment approximately daily
- Deliver product by car to the store and then to customer door
- Deliver flyers and door hangers
- Team‑oriented with high energy and strong people skills
- Ability to understand and give correct written instructions
- Effective verbal communication with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person
- Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately, and give correct monetary change (calculator may be used)
- Proficiency entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (for delivery role)
- Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings and private homes
- Ability to perform direct or indirect jobs that require turning on/off controls and changing signs at heights up to 72 inches
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when performing outside tasks; temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler areas to 90 °F+ in some work areas; sudden temperature changes; fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust; cramped quarters; hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing and perception requirements include clear hearing and speaking on the telephone, near/mid‑range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Temperament demands include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, handle stress, meet quality control standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Physical Demands- Standing – Most tasks performed from a standing position. Walking on ceramic tile or linoleum surfaces.
- Walking – Short distances and durations.
- Sitting – Occasional paperwork at a desk or table.
- Lifting – Bulk deliveries up to 50 lb with dimensions 3′ × 1.5′; shelving up to 72 in high.
- Carrying – Foods and supplies ranging from 3 lb to 30 lb, including trays of dough (~12 lb).
- Pushing/Pulling – Transferring trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 lb force.
- Climbing – Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders to change prices, wash walls, or perform maintenance.
- Stooping/Bending – Forward bending at the waist for pizza assembly and front counter tasks.
- Crouching/ Squatting – Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
- Reaching – Continuously reaching up, down, and forward; up to 72 in and reaching down to work near ovens or wash dishes.
- Hand Tasks – Continuous eye‑hand coordination; frequent use of forearms and wrists for shaping dough, using pizza peel and cutter, and assembling cardboard boxes.
- CARRYING – Carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing.
- DRIVING – Deliver pizzas within designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift.
- WALKING – Travel between store and delivery vehicle; from vehicle to customer location.
- CLIMBING – Up to five flights of stairs during delivery.
