About the Role
As a Cashier (Front End Team Member), you will provide fast, friendly service, process transactions, answer questions, guide customers through loyalty programs, and maintain a clean, compliant environment.
Responsibilities- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, and bagging products.
- Promote loyalty programs and engage customers in product knowledge.
- Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
- Maintain knowledge of current advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness standards throughout the store.
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales.
- Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- 1–3 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a cashier or related retail setting.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and teamwork mindset.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Walk, bend, and stand for 8–10 hours a day.
- Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly.
- May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions during the workday.
- Hourly pay: $18.02 – $25.23, depending on experience and location.
