Account Manager - Accelerated Sales Program

Overview

White Cap is hiring for an Account Manager –
Accelerated Sales Program
. The position is designed to fast‑track a sales career through structured classroom, independent study, and on‑the‑job training.

• Participate in classroom, independent study, and on‑the‑job training to learn White Cap’s business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills.
• Prepare and execute account plans.
• Sell White Cap’s value proposition and products to customers.
• Observe and learn effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers.
• Enter and process customer orders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Operate a company vehicle or a personal vehicle for more than 80% of the work week; a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report will be required and must be acceptable.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or one to two years of sales or related experience.
• Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with team members.
• Strong self‑governance, proactive approach, personal accountability, independence, competitiveness, and a drive to succeed.
• Goal‑oriented with a commitment to deliver on metrics.
• Open to feedback and willingness to take action to improve performance.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities.
• Spanish language proficiency (preferred).

Salary range: $50,000 – $80,000+ per year, based on market data, experience, skills, and internal equity.
