Position: Maintenance Technician
ResponsibilitiesThe Maintenance Technician performs general and preventative maintenance of all equipment, physical structures, and landscaping in compliance with corporate/franchise standards to protect the asset, ensure optimum operations, and maximize guest satisfaction.
Job Details- Status: Part‑time
- Schedule: Variable schedule; must be available weekends and holidays.
- Rate of Pay: $21.33 to $23.08 per hour (DOE)

- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
- Wallpaper and carpet repair skills preferred.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; complete routine reports and logs.
- Communicate effectively in a courteous manner with guests and coworkers; maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using units of weight, volume and distance.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete daily activities.
- Meet attendance requirements with dependability and consistency.
- Manage one's time to meet productivity standards.
- Three years’ experience in building maintenance or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Previous experience in hospitality at a similarly sized property highly preferred.
Heavy work:
Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to see, walk, stand, bend, climb, balance, lift, carry, crouch, kneel, push and pull. Physical strength and manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment and perform required duties.
