Pay: $30.27 to $46.89 Hourly Flat Rate - with Hyundai Certifications

Responsibilities

* Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and by the dealership

* Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

* Performs routine maintenance and repairs

* Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs

* Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Hyundai Certifications - Kia Certified candidates will be considered

* Six months to one year of related experience or alternative training

* Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination

* Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

* Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies

* Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve

* Enjoys working in a dynamic environment

* A teammate with the ability to collaborate with others effectively

* Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications

* At least 18 years of age

* Must be able to test drive vehicles.

* Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program
Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
