Employment Position:Full Time Compensation
Pay: $30.27 to $46.89 hourly flat rate, with Hyundai certifications. Salary is not negotiable.
Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment ProgramHyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor‑led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.

- Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and per dealership standards.
- Test‑drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if additional service is needed, providing an estimate of time for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hyundai certifications;
Kia certified candidates considered. - Six months to one year of related experience or alternative training.
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand‑eye coordination.
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with eagerness to improve.
- Enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with others effectively.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to test drive vehicles.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Entry Level Technician DescriptionAn "entry level" technician:
Capable of oil changes, tire rotations, completing minor services, tire, and battery replacement etc. Can perform most tasks that do not require in-depth diagnostics or complex critical mechanical aptitude with guidance as needed after researching work instructions or after being taught the proper techniques first.
