About the Role

As the Residential HVAC Installation Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of the installation department while ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to Ranger's high standards of quality. You'll manage installation schedules, support field personnel, coordinate resources, monitor department performance, and help create an outstanding experience for both customers and employees.

This position combines operational leadership with coaching, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement. You'll work closely with sales, operations, and field teams to ensure projects move smoothly from the initial sale through final completion.

What You'll Do

Lead daily residential HVAC installation operations by coordinating schedules, assigning crews, and ensuring projects stay on track. Review upcoming installations to verify job readiness, material availability, and staffing needs while quickly resolving scheduling or field challenges.

Monitor installation quality through jobsite visits and inspections, helping reduce callbacks, warranty claims, and rework while maintaining Ranger's workmanship standards.

Coach, mentor, and develop installation team members through ongoing training, performance discussions, and hands‑on support. Build accountability, strengthen team culture, and help prepare future leaders within the department.

Partner with sales, operations, and office staff to review sold projects, improve communication, streamline workflows, and continuously improve installation processes that enhance both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Track department performance, labor utilization, productivity, profitability, customer satisfaction, and installation quality while implementing improvements that support long-term growth.

What We’re Looking For

We're seeking an experienced HVAC professional with at least five years of residential installation experience and a minimum of three years leading installation teams, foremen, or field operations.
