Compensation
- Pay Range: $16.28 - $20.50 per hour
- Hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage for the job location
- Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed
- Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently
- Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections
- Maintain vehicles—keep them clean, scheduled for maintenance, and perform daily inspections before operating
- Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and money collected at all times
- Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete driver return slips
- Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management
- Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately
- Ensure fuel tanks are filled and vehicles are locked and secured at the end of the day
- Clock in and out according to company policy
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, and handling core returns
- Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and help with merchandising tasks when business demands
- Perform any other duties as assigned
- Required:
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record meeting the company’s 14/18‑point system
- Legally required state driver’s license and compliance with company driving eligibility requirements
- Desired:
- Familiarity with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
