Job Description

Our non-driving Delivery Helpers, paired with a delivery driver, swiftly deliver up to 300 packages a day to residences and businesses in a blue, Amazon-branded van.

Pay: $18.00/hr base pay plus earned bonuses. With earned bonuses Delivery Helpers can earn up to $20/hour

Shift Time(s): 10-hour shifts starting at 10:00 AM until the delivery route is finished. 10:00 AM- around 8:30 PM

Schedule: Delivery Helper position is full-time. Weekly schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week. Every employee must work one weekend day, every week as part of their regular schedule.

As a Driver Helper, you will ride along in an Amazon-branded, DOT-regulated box truck and support the driver in delivering packages. Your responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading packages (300+ packages per day)
• Handling large and bulky items using proper equipment including packages up to 50 lbs.
• Working 4 days per week, up to 10 hours per day (including breaks)
• Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading packages from the vehicle.
• Help navigate delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals at destinations.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures during deliveries.

Physical Demands: Driver Helpers walk between 7 to 12 miles per shift. This position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and standing.

Work Environment: The work environment is fast-paced and involves working in all weather conditions.

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Able to speak, read, and write fluently in English
• Previous experience in a delivery, warehouse or logistics role is preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to navigate apps and computer systems required.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations is beneficial.
