Job Title: IRS Satellite & Digital Aerial Installer
Location: Based in Pyle – Work in Field through South Wales, South West, Midlands, London
Salary: £30,000–£46,000 (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced IRS Satellite and Digital Aerial Installer to join our growing team. The role involves installation, commissioning and maintenance of IRS (Integrated Reception Systems), satellite and digital aerial systems across residential, commercial and multi-dwelling sites.
Fibre splicing experience would be beneficial but is not essential
, as training can be provided for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, expanding business with long-term work and opportunities to develop new skills.
- Install and maintain IRS, satellite and digital aerial systems
- Install communal IRS systems in apartments and commercial buildings
- Install aerials, satellite dishes, amplifiers and multi switch systems
- Run and terminate coaxial (and occasional fibre) cabling
- Testing, fault finding and commissioning of systems
- Work at height using ladders, roof access equipment and MEWPs
- Read site drawings and installation plans
- Complete job sheets and installation reports
- Liaise with clients, site managers and office team
- Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment
- Proven experience installing IRS and digital aerial systems
- Comfortable working at height
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding and testing skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of health & safety on site
- Fibre splicing experience
- Experience with fibre IRS systems
- CAI accreditation or similar
- ECS/CSCS card
- IPAF or PASMA
- Experience working on construction sites
- Data cabling or CCTV experience
