Library Assistant

We are in search of a Library Assistant to join our team in Lusail. As a Library Assistant, you will work closely with the Librarian to ensure the smooth operation of the library and provide excellent service to library patrons.

• Assist patrons with locating materials, checking out items, and answering questions
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the library shelves and work spaces
• Process new materials by cataloging, shelving, and labeling
• Help plan and implement library programs and events
• Monitor and enforce library rules and policies
• Assist with collection development by identifying popular titles and recommending new purchases
• Handle basic administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and preparing reports

• Previous experience working in a library or customer service role preferred
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This position is open to all nationalities. However, proficiency in English is required. This is a part-time position suitable for men who are passionate about books and providing excellent service.
