As a Category Executive for Pharma, you will be responsible for managing and growing the pharmaceutical product category. This includes overseeing product selection, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving sales growth. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize the category’s performance while ensuring a customer‑centric approach to product availability and quality.

• Category Management
  • Develop and implement growth strategies for the pharma category.
  • Manage product selection, availability, and quality.
  • Track performance using metrics like sales and customer feedback.
  • Perform market and trend analysis.
• Vendor & Supplier Relations
  • Build strong relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers and distributors.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms.
  • Ensure timely stock delivery and competitive product offerings.
• Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
  • Ensure products meet required licensing and regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated on healthcare regulations.
  • Work with legal/compliance teams when needed.
• Inventory & Stock Management
  • Monitor and manage inventory to prevent shortages or excesses.
  • Handle returns, damaged, or expired products per procedures.
• Product Listing Optimization
  • Ensure product details are accurate and complete.
  • Improve product visibility and customer engagement.
  • Respond to customer reviews and feedback.
• Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze sales and customer data to measure category health.
  • Create regular performance reports for leadership.
  • Use insights to refine strategies and promotions.
• Promotions & Marketing Support
  • Help plan and execute sales promotions and seasonal campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on customer‑focused content and offers.
  • Plan and execute campaigns to drive sales during key pharmaceutical product demand periods, such as flu season or health awareness events.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• 2–3 years experience in category management, e‑commerce, or retail.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations.
• Negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams (marketing, operations, legal).
