Purpose

The Partnerships Specialist supports the development and execution of strategic partnerships across our markets, helping expand distribution, enhance our product ecosystem, and drive customer growth.

This role sits at the intersection of commercial, product, and operations, contributing to partnerships with banks, remittance players, merchants, fintechs, and other ecosystem players.

It is an execution-heavy role with strong exposure to senior stakeholders internally and externally.

Role Accountabilities
  • Partnership Execution
    • Support the identification, onboarding, and launch of new partners across markets
    • Coordinate internal stakeholders (product, tech, legal, compliance, finance) to deliver partnerships end‑to‑end
    • Track progress against timelines and ensure smooth execution of partnership agreements
  • Commercial & Performance Tracking
    • Monitor performance of existing partnerships (volumes, revenues, customer acquisition)
    • Prepare regular reports and insights on partnership performance
    • Identify optimization opportunities and support implementation
  • Partner Relationship Management
    • Maintain strong, professional relationships with partner counterparts
    • Perform due diligence in coordination with internal teams
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination
    • Work closely with platform teams (product, tech) to support integration and feature delivery
    • Coordinate with market teams to ensure local execution aligns with central strategy
    • Support alignment between commercial objectives and product roadmap
  • Market & Opportunity Analysis
    • Conduct research on potential partners, competitors, and industry trends
    • Support preparation of business cases and partnership proposals
    • Contribute to pipeline development across markets
  • Documentation & Governance
    • Assist in preparing commercial proposals, presentations, and partnership agreements
    • Ensure proper documentation and internal approvals are in place
    • Maintain organized records of partnership activities
Key Performance Indicators
  • Number of new strategic partnerships onboarded annually, aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Effectiveness in managing, strengthening and expanding existing partner relationships.
  • Achievement of targets including revenue, transaction volumes and active users.
  • Timely completion of periodic partnership review.
  • Maintenance of up-to-date partnership roadmap aligned with organisational objectives
Experience
  • 5-10 years’ experience in banking/fintech industry with significant experience in product development and partnership management.
  • Conversant in web3 space including blockchain, DLT and NFT.
  • Excellent skills on using Microsoft office tools including Excel, Word, MS Projects and Power Point.
  • A strong commercial and technical background.
  • A strong understanding of financial products and services.
  • Experience in multi-country project implementation
Minimum Entry Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent.
