Librarian (Lusail, Qatar)

We are in need of a highly organized and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our library collection, assisting patrons with research requests, and promoting literacy and education within the community.

• Organize and maintain library materials according to established systems
• Assist patrons with locating resources and providing reference services
• Develop and implement programs to promote reading and literacy, especially for children
• Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum needs
• Evaluate, select, and acquire new materials for the library collection
• Manage budget and purchasing of library supplies
• Supervise library assistants or volunteers

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• Proven experience working as a Librarian
• Knowledge of library cataloging systems and online databases
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work well with diverse groups of people
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in English

Salary: 1600$ per month
