Overview

As an FP&A Analyst - Commercial Finance, you'll sit at the heart of our growth engine, partnering closely with Commercial teams to turn data into insight and insight into action. This role is all about understanding what drives revenue, margins, and profitability, and helping the business make smarter, faster decisions.

You'll be a key voice in forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic planning as Snoonu scales toward its ultra app ambition.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to Commercial teams, supporting day to day decision making and long term planning.
  • Own financial performance tracking for key commercial levers, including revenue growth, pricing, promotions, incentives, and margin optimization.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define, track, and explain commercial KPIs, ensuring clear alignment between financial outcomes and business actions.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities within commercial performance, and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Support evaluation of new commercial initiatives, partnerships, and campaigns by assessing financial viability, ROI, and payback periods.
  • Challenge assumptions through data driven analysis, bringing an independent finance perspective to commercial decisions.
  • Translate complex financial analysis into clear, actionable insights tailored for non finance stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Support pricing and promotional strategies by analyzing discount impact and contribution margins.
  • Support annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long range plans, with a strong focus on revenue, contribution margin, and commercial KPIs.
  • Build and maintain driver based financial models to assess new initiatives, campaigns, and pricing strategies.
  • Analyze revenue streams, unit economics, discounts, incentives, and customer profitability.
  • Prepare monthly performance reviews, highlighting variances vs. budget/forecast and clearly explaining the "why" behind the numbers.
  • Develop and improve management reports, dashboards, and commercial scorecards.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across finance systems and business reports.
  • Support strategic initiatives, including market expansion, new products, partnerships, and promotions.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling to support leadership decision making.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in FP&A, commercial finance, or business analysis.
  • Solid understanding of revenue models, unit economics, and margin analysis.
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Ability to tell a story with numbers and communicate insights clearly.
  • Curious mindset with a bias toward problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, high growth environment.
Bonus Points If You Have
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business finance roles within tech, e commerce, marketplaces, food delivery.
  • Hands on experience supporting commercial teams as a true finance business partner.
  • Strong exposure to pricing strategies, promotions, incentive structures, and ROI analysis, with a clear understanding of their impact on margins and unit economics.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and turning them into actionable commercial insights.
  • Familiarity with enterprise planning and reporting tools (TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics or similar).
  • Advanced experience with BI and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience operating in a fast paced, ambiguous, scale up environment, where structure is built as you go.
  • Professional finance certifications such as CMA, CFA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent (completed or in progress).
