Business Finance Analyst; Food

As a Business Finance Analyst - Commercial (Food), you will work closely with the Business Finance Specialist – Commercial (Food) and support the Food GM and Commercial team. This role is designed as a hands‑on execution and analytics partner – facilitating the data, analysis, and reporting that enable better commercial decisions. • Work closely with the Business Finance Specialist to support day‑to‑day commercial finance activities
• Assist in tracking and maintaining the Food P&L (revenue, take‑rates, contribution margins)
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports and variance analysis
• Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and scorecards used by Commercial and Finance teams
• Ensure data accuracy across reports, models, and performance metrics
• Turn large, messy datasets into structured, reliable outputs
• Support analysis on pricing, commissions, promotions, and incentives
• Assist in evaluating campaigns, partnerships, and new initiatives (ROI, payback, margin impact)
• Track performance vs. targets and flag risks or gaps early
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with data preparation and model updates
• Help translate analysis into clear summaries for internal stakeholders

• 3+ years of experience in commercial finance or business finance – ideally in food delivery, q‑commerce, marketplaces, e‑commerce, or other tech‑enabled consumer businesses – partnering directly with Commercial or Account Management leaders
• Sharp grip on revenue models, unit economics, take‑rate, and margin – you know which lever moves what
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets and zero fear of large, messy datasets
• Opinionated but constructive – happy to push back when the numbers tell a different story than the narrative
• Built to operate in fast, ambiguous, high‑growth environments where structure gets built as you go
• You know restaurant economics, pricing, promo mechanics, and customer incentives well enough to know where margin gets made and where it leaks
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise planning tools (TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics or similar) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
