Strategic Finance Specialist

We are seeking a sharp Strategic Finance Lead to sit at the core of our decision‑making. In this high-impact role, you won’t just manage numbers—you’ll translate complex, messy data into clear, actionable strategy.

Partnering closely with executive, commercial, and operations teams, you’ll build dynamic financial models, dissect unit economics, and evaluate new market expansions.

• Build, maintain, and continuously improve financial models covering budgeting, reforecasting, and scenario planning across markets and business lines.
• Support valuation exercises and business case analysis for new initiatives, investments, and strategic projects.
• Analyze unit economics (e.g., order economics, contribution margin, cost per order) to identify key drivers of profitability and flag risks or opportunities.
• Work with large, often messy or incomplete datasets, and translate them into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
• Prepare board-level and management presentations, including data visualization, variance analysis (e.g., budget vs. actual vs. reforecast), and clear written commentary.
• Partner with commercial, operations, and expansion teams to understand business performance drivers and support decision‑making with data.
• Own recurring reporting deliverables (KPI trackers, dashboards, performance packs) with a high standard of accuracy and consistency.
• Support ad hoc strategic analysis, including new market entry, pricing, and investment evaluation.

• 4-6 years of experience, ideally in an FP&A, business finance, or strategic finance function within a fast‑moving consumer/tech/marketplace business (food delivery, e‑commerce, or similar preferred).
• Comfortable building complex, formula‑driven models from scratch; not reliant on templates.
• Practical experience building models (three‑statement, DCF, unit economics, or similar) and supporting valuation or business‑case exercises.
• Able to work with vague, incomplete, or messy data and structure it into a clear, defensible narrative.
• Able to build clean, board‑ready slides and communicate complex analysis simply, in writing and verbally.
• High attention to detail.

• Experience in a multi‑market or regional role (GCC exposure a plus).
• Exposure to investor reporting, board reporting, or PE/VC‑backed environments.
• Familiarity with BI/data tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Python) is a plus but not required.
