We are seeking a results-driven Localization Team Lead to oversee our translation and moderation operations across multiple markets. This role will be responsible for leading a team of localization specialists, ensuring high-quality output, SLA adherence, operational efficiency, and continuous process improvement while serving as the key point of contact for stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and develop a team of translators, moderators, and onboarding associates across multiple markets.
- Monitor daily inflows, workload distribution, and team capacity to ensure timely delivery against SLAs.
- Track productivity, quality, and operational KPIs, ensuring targets are consistently achieved.
- Identify bottlenecks, operational risks, and capacity constraints, and proactively implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and development plans for team members.
- Support career growth and succession planning by identifying and grooming high‑potential employees.
- Collaborate with Quality and Training teams to improve translation accuracy, moderation standards, and process compliance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, managing expectations and providing regular operational updates.
- Escalate system, workflow, and process issues to Product and Tech teams, ensuring timely resolution.
- Drive process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and turnaround times.
- Analyze operational trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance and scalability.
- Ensure adherence to localization guidelines, content standards, and company policies across all markets.
- Support new market launches, process rollouts, and operational change management initiatives.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset.
- Experience managing productivity, SLA, and quality‑driven operations.
- Ability to effectively coach, mentor, and develop teams.
- Strong organizational and workload management skills.
- Experience identifying operational gaps and driving process improvements.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume operational environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Languages, Linguistics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Localization, Translation, Content Operations, Moderation, or related operational functions.
- At least 1–2 years of experience leading teams in a production or operations environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is required.
- Experience managing outsourced teams and regional operations is highly preferred.
- Experience in e‑commerce, marketplace, content, or catalog operations is a plus.
