Job Title - Program Risk Manager
Job Summary:
Lead and manage risk management activities across construction and infrastructure projects by identifying, assessing, mitigating and monitoring risks that may impact project objectives, safety, quality, schedule, cost and overall business performance. Ensure effective risk awareness and proactive risk management practices are implemented to support successful project delivery and organizational goals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain the enterprise and project risk management framework, policy and procedures.
- Establish and maintain the corporate risk register and project-level risk registers across all active projects.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, including schedule and cost risk assessment and contingency modelling.
- Lead and monitor the risk identification and assessment process across project, commercial, HSE, finance and functional teams and ensure effective risk management practices are implemented across the business.
- Evaluate tender and pre-contract risks and provide risk input to bid submissions, contract terms and pricing.
- Monitor mitigation actions and control effectiveness and escalated overdue or ineffective controls to management.
- Prepare periodic risk reports, heat maps and dashboards for Executive Management.
- Maintain business continuity and crisis management plans and coordinate related reviews and drills.
- Provide risk management support in evaluating claims exposure and contractual matters while liaising with internal stakeholders to minimize organizational risk.
- Monitor adherence to contractual, regulatory, and client risk management and reporting requirements.
- Deliver risk awareness training and build risk management capability across project and support teams.
- Any other related duties assigned to ensure the overall success of the business
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance or Business Administration
- Professional risk certification (IRM, PMI-RMP, ISO 31000 or equivalent) preferred
- 15-20 years in risk management within construction, infrastructure or contracting
- 5-8 years in a managerial role
- Proven experience in enterprise risk management and risk assessment.
