Position: Category Executive for Pharma
Location: Lusail

As a Category Executive for Pharma, you will manage and grow the pharmaceutical product category, overseeing product selection, maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving sales growth.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement growth strategies for the pharma category.
  • Manage product selection, availability, and quality.
  • Track performance using metrics such as sales and customer feedback.
  • Perform market and trend analysis.
  • Build strong relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers and distributors.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms.
  • Ensure timely stock delivery and competitive product offerings.
  • Ensure products meet required licensing and regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated on healthcare regulations.
  • Work with legal and compliance teams when needed.
  • Monitor inventory to prevent shortages or excesses.
  • Handle returns, damaged, or expired products per procedures.
  • Ensure product details are accurate and complete.
  • Improve product visibility and customer engagement.
  • Respond to customer reviews and feedback.
  • Analyze sales and customer data to measure category health.
  • Create regular performance reports for leadership.
  • Use insights to refine strategies and promotions.
  • Help plan and execute sales promotions and seasonal campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on customer-focused content and offers.
  • Plan and execute campaigns to drive sales during key pharmaceutical product demand periods, such as flu season or health awareness events.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • 2-3 years experience in category management, e-commerce, or retail.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Negotiation, communication, and relationship building skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams (marketing, operations, legal).
