Overview
We are currently hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Lusail. As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes. Your duties will include troubleshooting issues, conducting regular inspections and calibrating equipment to ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
This is a full‑time position with a salary of $1,100 per month.
- Install, calibrate, maintain and repair various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters and control valves.
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and control systems and make necessary repairs or replacements.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of instruments and identify potential problems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating and adjusting equipment.
- Read technical drawings and manuals to understand instrument specifications and operating procedures.
- Collaborate with other technicians or engineers to identify solutions for complex technical issues.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any malfunctions or defects to the supervisor.
- Adhere to safety regulations at all times while working on industrial sites.
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, electronic systems and instrumentation principles.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use testing equipment such as multimeters or oscilloscopes.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
- Detail‑oriented with good manual dexterity for handling small parts during repairs or installations.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience working with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is a plus.
