Senior Acquisition Specialist / Active TS with SCI eligibility

• Coordinate purchases of hardware, software, and services in support of the equipment procurement mission.
• Identify the procurement needs of the program.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and compare offers.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Develop procurement strategies and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers.
• Manage end-to-end procure-to-pay for CAP and ODC items: sourcing, RFQs, evaluation, negotiation, PO issuance, and receipt/acceptance coordination.
• Coordinate with engineering, contracts, finance, and program leads to ensure technical/contract compliance and budget alignment.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with 8 years of relevant experience, or a Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with 6 years of experience, or Ph.D. in a related field with 3 years of relevant experience (an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of the bachelor's degree).
• Demonstrated experience in purchasing, procurement, and/or acquisition.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
