Perform full dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings.

Take and interpret radiographs using multiple modalities; distinguish diagnostic from non-diagnostic images.

Treatment areas include oral medicine, restorative and preventive dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral pathology, minor oral surgery, minor periodontics, and refer patients to specialists when treatment exceeds scope of practice.

Skilled use of dental handpieces and standard dental armamentarium.

Knowledgeable in current dental materials.

Make accurate impressions for models and prostheses, including dentures.

Correct minor occlusal discrepancies.

Ability to lift or maneuver up to 40 lbs during patient or equipment positioning.

Perform fillings, crowns, fixed partial dentures, space maintenance appliances, removable partial dentures.

Utilize digital dentistry equipment.

Conduct oral health assessments and X-rays.

Provide cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.

Prescribe medications and fluoride.

Diagnose caries, periapical pathology, periodontal disease, and oral/perioral lesions.

Prescribe appropriate medications.

Treat routine TMJ dysfunction and mild to moderate cellulitis.

Perform simple extractions (exodontia).

Conduct minor gingival procedures (gingivoplasty, fiberotomy, mini-flap).
