Safety Technician
Euola is seeking experienced Safety Technicians to support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). This position plays a vital role in ensuring federal workplaces maintain the highest standards of occupational safety, health, and regulatory compliance.
The selected candidates will conduct facility inspections, investigate incidents, perform risk assessments, deliver safety training, and provide technical safety support at DCSA facilities throughout the United States.
Responsibilities- Perform annual Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) inspections of DCSA facilities
- Conduct workplace safety inspections utilizing OSHA and DoD standards
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Perform accident, incident, and hazard investigations
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and job hazard analyses
- Prepare detailed inspection and investigation reports
- Deliver quarterly safety training using Microsoft Teams
- Track hazards from identification through resolution
- Participate in renovation and construction safety reviews
- Maintain accurate monthly activity reports
- Travel to government facilities throughout assigned region
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Safety, or related field or 5–10 years of direct Environmental Health & Safety experience
- Must have experience with the following OSHA regulations, Workplace inspections, Risk assessments, Incident investigations, Safety reporting, Hazard mitigation, Microsoft Office.
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to travel extensively
- Ability to climb ladders and inspect mechanical spaces
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
- CHST
- Federal Government experience
- DoD experience
- DCSA experience
- Construction safety experience
Frequent travel throughout assigned region. This position requires extensive travel to Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) facilities throughout the continental United States (CONUS). Candidates may reside anywhere in the U.S.; however, regular travel is required.
