Senior Network Engineer (Quantico, VA)

Full Visibility LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work in Quantico, VA. The successful candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance.

• Analyze local LAN/WAN systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites.
• Configure communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices.
• Resolve interoperability problems to enable operations across platforms (email, file transfer, multimedia, teleconferencing).
• Configure systems to user requirements, perform tests, document results, administer and maintain LAN/WAN.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to users.
• Plan network layout designs.
• Assist with administering network security, performing database administration, and serve as the technical team or task lead.

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (6+ years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree).
• At least six (6+) years of work experience.
• Experience with LAN/WAN communications, Cisco routers, ethernet switches, bridges, gateways, firewalls, and Micro and Gig E Taclanes encryption devices.
• Experience troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 Cisco and Juniper switching and routing.
• Experience monitoring customer traffic through monitoring boards built using Libra
  
  NMS.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols such as RIP, EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Strong knowledge and experience with MPLS, VPLS, VPNs, and traffic engineering technologies.
• Knowledge of systems analysis and technical writing to support SOPs.

• TACLANE certification.
• Cisco Professional and Expert certifications.
• Knowledge or certification for specific applications or processes.
