The OEM SME Engineer – Net App Mid (with VMware) will serve as the primary technical expert for vendor solutions, providing enterprise-level engineering support and assistance across storage and virtualization environments. This role requires a strong background in Net App storage technologies and VMware virtualization, particularly within large-scale DoD or federal enterprise networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the lead technical specialist for vendor-related solutions and enterprise engineering support.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor R&D and technical support teams to ensure effective design, integration, and operation of storage solutions.
• Provide hands-on engineering support within Storage Engineering and Virtualization functional areas.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Net App storage systems, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
• Design, deploy, and maintain Net App Storage solutions to meet mission and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with DoD and organizational security and operational standards.
• Maintain and document system configurations, architecture designs, and process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT engineering, storage, or virtualization.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification (Level III or IASAE II preferred).
• Proven experience with Net App storage systems in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with VMware configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support critical production systems under pressure.
