US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities:
Monitor and control the water treatment process including chemical addition, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, chlorination, filtration, pH control, and fluoridation;
Analyze present and anticipated raw water quality, evaluate test results, and adjust chemical feed rates and filtration rates to stay within established limits;
Maintain water system storage capacity by monitoring tank elevations and coordinating filtration rates;
Control the operation of raw water pumps to meet treatment demand
