Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst
Amentum is seeking highly motivated, self-starting Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret-SCI clearance. Responsibilities include providing mid-level analytic expertise, reviewing submitted packages to ensure they meet basic submission requirements, and producing RIRs through conducting all-source research from public, private, and U.S. and foreign Government open-source materials.
Conduct analytical research that establishes threat to U.S. technologies, information, and supply chains impacting cleared industry, cleared personnel, DOD, and DCSA. Responsible for processing, updating, and tracking cases, actions, products, and reviews in the identified system of record and other databases. Research, synthesize, exploit, evaluate, and analyze all-source reporting on USG critical technologies, programs, information, and supply chains. Disseminate intelligence information to customers and stakeholders.
Working with teams and independently required.
Requirements include an active TS-SCI Clearance, at least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years, and a Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Minimum 8 years' experience in applying data analysis, trend analysis and problem-solving techniques, ability to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and recommend solutions, ability and skill in communicating intelligence information verbally and in writing, conducting strategic communications with key stakeholders, conducting research effectively and efficiently at classified and unclassified levels, and being knowledgeable of data manipulation within databases and Microsoft software packages.
Superior oral and written communication skills, as well as a good command of the English language. High proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. Organizational skills. May be required to lift general office items (20-30lbs). Expected in office work five days a week with occasional telework that is dependent on the government's needs. U.S. driver's license and be capable of operating government vehicles.
Preferred experience includes DCSA and DoD work experience and proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
This is an in-office position, with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting up to 20-30 lbs., constant sitting while using a computer, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities to communicate, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines. Compensation Details: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00.
