• Analyze and assess current and future foreign lethal and non-lethal weapon systems

• Assess system capabilities, vulnerabilities, production, stockpile, deployment, proliferation, and impact to U.S. and Coalition forces worldwide

• Prepare analytic products informing U.S. National, Defense, and Acquisition Communities about foreign weapon system developments

• Pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology

• Clearly articulate key findings across organizational and intra-IC boundaries

• Review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, adequate support for conclusions, and analytic rigor

Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
  • Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (desired)
  • An additional 4 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 7 years of experience, may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of labor category activities required to meet mission requirements
  • Mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies
  • Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches
  • In-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight
  • Ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, adequate support for conclusions, and analytic rigor

Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies, with the ability to conduct in-depth analysis of foreign lethal and non-lethal weapon systems. Capable of articulating key findings and reviewing analytic products for rigor and adherence to tradecraft standards.
