Matrix Providers is hiring a Clinical Psychologist to join our team of talented professionals providing healthcare services to Military Service Members and their families at Naval Health Clinic - Quantico, Virginia.
- Employment Status:
Full time - Compensation:
This is an hourly position. $70.00- 73.15/hr - Schedule: Shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5 to 9 hour period, to include an uncompensated 30 to 60 minute lunch break between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
- Current schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

- Education: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD);
Graduate from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology;
Internship/Residency:
Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association - Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Experience: Must have 2 of last 3 years experience as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a
psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or US Virgin
Islands
- Provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individual and group patients.
- Conduct clinical interviews, psychological testing, and interpret results to support care planning.
- Deliver care for acute mental health crises, including suicidal/homicidal risk and psychosis.
- Establish DSM-based psychiatric diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
- Perform fitness-for-duty, suitability, and other occupational psychological evaluations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to coordinate patient care and treatment planning.
- Provide therapy and behavioral health support for patients coping with medical conditions or injury.
- Respond to emergency psychiatric situations following established clinical protocols.
- Document evaluations, treatment, and clinical outcomes in accordance with required standards.
- Participate in case reviews, staff meetings, training, and continuous professional development.
- Experience providing behavioral health care in a clinical setting.
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse patient population.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a multidisciplinary team.
