CACG, LLC is seeking a Test Automation Engineer with expertise in the Tricentis testing ecosystem to design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing solutions. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Tricentis tools, driving automation strategy, improving test coverage, and enabling continuous quality across enterprise applications. This role will collaborate closely with QA, development, Dev Ops, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality, reliable software releases through robust automation frameworks and best practices.
SKILL LEVEL: 8-10 years of hands-on experience in test automation, with a significant portion focused on leveraging Tricentis Test Automation and CI/CD Dev Ops Automation
LOCATION: Remote (primary) with occasional on-site activities required at the client site in the National Capital Region (primarily sites in Quantico, VA and Hanover, MD).
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Applicants must be U.S. citizens and must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Department of Defense (DoD) issued SECRET level security clearance during employment.
- Serve as the primary SME for Tricentis Tosca (and related tools such as qTest, Test Data Management, and Service Virtualization).
- Design, develop, and maintain model-based automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca.
- Define automation standards, frameworks, and best practices using Tricentis tools.
- Lead Tricentis tool configuration, upgrades, and integrations.
- Develop and execute automated test strategies for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Translate business requirements and technical specifications into automated test scenarios.
- Ensure adequate test coverage across web, API, desktop, and packaged applications (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams on root cause analysis.
- Integrate Tricentis automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub, Git Lab).
- Support continuous testing initiatives aligned with Agile and Dev Ops practices.
- Optimize test execution for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Partner with developers, QA analysts, and product owners throughout the SDLC.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to QA and automation team members on Tricentis tools.
- Contribute to test automation roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Experience and Knowledge
- Experience and capacity to provide Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services for independently assessing, validating, and executing developer-produced automated test assets to determine their accuracy, completeness, traceability, and suitability for release and compliance decisions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca (Modules, Test Cases, Execution Lists, Scratch Book, DEX), Model-based test automation, API testing and service virtualization, Test data management.
- Experience testing enterprise applications (web, API, and packaged apps such as Business Process Management (BPM) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM), or similar).
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Lean Agile/Scrum, SAFe and Dev Ops methodologies.

ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), Certified Tester Foundation Level Agile Tester(CTFL), AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer
