Overview

Join Life Cycle Engineering in support of the NCIS IT support services mission headquartered in Quantico, Virginia. The Information Technology Directorate (ITD) supports the NCIS core mission areas to investigate and defeat criminal, terrorist, and foreign intelligence threats by planning for and providing services through appropriate use of the people, equipment, technology, and infrastructure resources of the United States (U.S.) Navy and Marine Corps.

Position Summary: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, management and execution of IT projects. Executing information technology projects by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

This position is expected to start in Q3 of 2026.

Clearance Requirements: Must have an active Secret clearance and Top Secret/SCI eligible.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Ability to create and maintain project deliverables to include project charters, schedules, plans, dashboards, and requirements documents.
  • Ability to brief senior leadership on a regular basis on status of projects.
  • Responsible for coordinating with various technical and business personnel and coordinating resources and timetables.
  • Responsible for understanding cybersecurity requirements related to the project.
  • Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
  • Seven (7) years IT project management experience leading both complex and small IT projects.
  • Must have skills in technical management, technical understanding, analyzing information, great communications skills, resource management, problem solving, understanding and developing budgets, coordination, strategic planning, quality management and risk management.
  • PMP certified.
  • Experience with ITIL and SCRUM is preferred.
Physical Demands and Expectations
  • Travel will be required to support this task (up to 25% travel).
  • Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing; occasional prolonged sitting.
  • Ability to speak, read, hear and write, with or without assistance.
  • Ability to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment.
