Job DescriptionSUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining awareness of ongoing Science and Technology (S&T) endeavors and resultant technologies for integration of the most recent and relevant information into its evaluations, analyses, and activities in support of the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory/Futures Directorate (MCWL/FD).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reinforce communication, integration, and process innovation.
- Aid in increasing the speed of the command decision cycle.
- Foster operationalized information and knowledge sharing.
- Determine processes and procedures to satisfy Information Exchange Requirements.
- Develop and review knowledge exchange requirements, procedures, and processes.
- Develop and maintain the information vehicle (SharePoint) and other outreach methods.
- Upload required information to the SharePoint site and other outreach methods.
- Provide information and knowledge management support, including social media, SharePoint, and shared-drive management.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Military education equivalent to experience.
- Completion of the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Fundamentals of Acquisition Management (ACQ 101 or an equivalent course) is mandatory.
- All training certifications and associated skill sets listed below as required to accomplish task requirements: (1) MS Active Directory support; (2) Security+ certification - CompTIA or DoD required industry standard equivalent; (3) Familiarization with network design, installation, monitoring, and repair using test equipment; (4) Supporting PKI and MS Outlook; (5) Support for cellular service; (6) Supporting LAN-based video teleconferencing (VTC); and (7) Supporting Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.
- Must possess comprehensive knowledge of the Marine Corps, its missions, force structure, war fighting concepts, tactics, techniques, procedures, doctrine. In addition, must possess a working knowledge of the Marine Corps Warfighting Concepts and the combat development process.
- Must have an intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Top Secret security clearance (generally, U.S. citizenship required).
- Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

- Bachelor's degree in Administration preferred.

- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.

Driving RequirementsMust have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 25%.
Work EnvironmentWork is performed primarily in an office setting and occasionally in a trade show environment. May be exposed to sharp objects, some heat, loud noise, chemicals, and vibration. Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
Physical DemandsFrequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing; occasional walking or standing, occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Compensation & Benefits Package- Pay range: $90,000 - $98,000 per year.
