This is a full-time, on-site position for an Audio Visual (AV) Technician based in Quantico, VA. The Audio Visual Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining AV systems, including video conferencing equipment, projectors, and lighting. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting AV issues, providing technical support for meetings and events, and ensuring seamless functionality of all AV systems. The role requires continuous collaboration with team members and stakeholders to meet technical and event-specific requirements.
Responsibilities- Setting up, operating, and maintaining AV systems
- Managing video conferencing equipment, projectors, and lighting
- Troubleshooting AV issues and providing technical support for meetings and events
- Ensuring seamless functionality of all AV systems
- Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to meet technical and event-specific requirements
- Expertise in operating and maintaining Audio Visual (AV) Systems
- Strong skills in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Experience with Video Conferencing systems and solutions
- Knowledge of Lighting systems and Projector technologies
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with security protocols in federal or government environments is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as AVIXA CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or manufacturer certifications are desirable
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical education is preferred
