cBEYONData, a subsidiary of SMX, seeks an AI Portfolio & Delivery Analyst to support the Government AI Lead as a trusted advisor in managing a growing portfolio of AI initiatives. The role focuses on building visibility, structure, and execution discipline across AI-related projects across varying maturity stages. The successful candidate will help the Government AI Lead assess current initiatives, establish governance, reporting and accountability mechanisms, and support operational readiness across the portfolio.

This is a hands‑on delivery and coordination role requiring operational, analytical and stakeholder‑coordination experience in a fast‑paced DoD environment. The position is onsite in Quantico, VA or Hanover, MD.

• Support the Government AI Lead in establishing and maintaining a centralized view of all AI initiatives.
• Build and maintain portfolio‑level tracking of project status, readiness, schedules, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate with project teams, engineers, vendors and government stakeholders to collect accurate delivery and performance data.
• Support assessment of AI initiatives to identify delivery readiness, data/infrastructure/security gaps.
• Prepare portfolio briefings, dashboards and decision‑support materials for government leadership.
• Assist with the development of lightweight governance and oversight processes (status reporting, reviews, and escalation paths).
• Track schedule, deployment activity, and operational readiness across multiple parallel efforts.
• Support documentation and standard operating procedures for AI portfolio management.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, program offices, and leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of professional experience supporting technology programs, deployments or operational delivery efforts.
• Experience supporting large, multi‑site or multi‑team technical deployments.
• Experience coordinating schedules, stakeholders, engineering resources and logistics in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated experience developing operational dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel or similar tools.
• Experience working with Jira or similar ticketing/workflow platforms.
• Strong communication skills with technical teams and government stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and data‑management skills.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.

• Exposure to cloud platforms, infrastructure deployments or enterprise IT environments.
• Familiarity with Agile or delivery operations concepts.
• Experience supporting federal customers or DoD programs.
• Experience supporting portfolio‑level reporting or multi‑project coordination.
• SQL or data analysis experience.

• Agile or delivery certifications (Scrum, Kanban, ICAgile or similar).
• Cloud fundamentals certifications.
