G-MCSC Logistics Analyst II

Overview

CommIT Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Analyst II to provide technical support and expertise across our Logistics, Supply, Acquisition and Maintenance domains in support of the United States Marine Corps MCSC G-4 in Quantico, VA. This position will require frequent customer engagement to understand and solve functional, business process and transactional issues, and to support the accurate and timely delivery of products.

Established in 2001, CommIT is a Certified Veteran‑Owned Small Business (VOSB) providing innovative technical engineering and data science services. Our enterprise systems support includes the Department of Defense’s GCSS‑MC, CAC2S, TBMCS‑MC, and the Department of Veteran’s Affairs telehealth communications. We offer acquisition management, systems engineering, agile software development, cloud management, IT modernization, data analytics, cybersecurity, and training, including leading‑edge Dev Sec Ops , automated testing, and mobile application development.

• Provide subject matter expertise in Marine Corps logistics, including requisition management, receipt control and accountability, warehouse operations, birthing of assets, redistribution of material, and maintaining a complete audit trail of documentation to ensure proper accountability to support internal and external audits and FSMAO inspections.
• Provide technical expertise in Marine Corps logistics, material, and supply management.
• Facilitate accountability in retail and enterprise‑level inventory activities and units.
• Prepare, maintain and control essential supporting documentation to document major events in capital asset lifecycle from acquisition, transference, sub‑custody and final disposition and/or disposal in support of existence and completeness.
• Document and report weekly tasks in word documents to provide visibility and insight into work volumes, accomplishments, risks, and issues, enabling status reports and metrics for continuous process improvement.
• Understand and fulfill the support needs of the client, work under pressure and time constraints to complete tasks and mission objectives as part of a cohesive team.
• Possibly spend up to 10% of the time augmenting support for the Warehouse team, which may include lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.

• 3–5 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; preferred but not required.
• Intermediate knowledge of Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps as an application user in property management and requisition management.
• Possibly spend up to 10% of the time augmenting support for the Warehouse team, which may include lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.

• Public Trust required to ensure a CAC can be issued (SF‑85).

• This position is onsite at Quantico MCB; travel beyond Quantico is not expected.
