Job Overview
Transform technology into opportunity as an Oracle Database Administrator pe what’s next for mission‑critical government projects and advance your engineering career as part of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service’s IT Technology Operations division in Quantico, VA.
Responsibilities- Create dynamic web pages using HTML, Oracle , Oracle Webforms and Oracle Apex.
- Maintain existing Oracle packages, Webforms and Oracle Apex.
- Create and maintain Oracle tables.
- Design and maintain Oracle packages.
- Patch Oracle systems as required.
- Upgrade Oracle systems as required.
- Monitor Oracle environments.
- Create and maintain procedures for creating, reading, and deleting critical data.
- Manage data migration, including migration plan, cleansing, transformation, and testing.
- Maintain analytical systems, verify data accuracy, and act as liaison with business.
- Maintain security and integrity controls.
- Perform data analysis/testing of migration scripts and stored procedures to verify successful data migration between legacy and new Oracle 11g databases.
- Active TS/SCI or Top Secret clearance; must be able to obtain SCI access after hire.
- 8+ years of experience in database and data management.
- Experience with Oracle 18c or higher, including Oracle RAC.
- Strong Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and query performance tuning skills.
- Strong front‑end scripting experience using JavaScript.
- Strong HTML, CSS, AJAX, and JSON experience.
- Experience with law‑enforcement data (major plus).
- Experience with Linux‑based systems hosting Oracle engines.
- Experience in a fast‑paced environment with proven engineering, development, deployment, and maintenance of business‑critical systems.
- Ability to translate technical issues into understandable business language for end users.
- Ability to establish and document new standards for quality, performance, or productivity.
- CompTIA Security+ CE certification (Current DoD 8570 – IAT Level II).
- BS degree; additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- US citizenship required.
- Oracle PL/SQL, RDBMS modeling, data integrity, SQL Developer/TOAD.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8.
Hybrid – 3 days onsite in Quantico, VA and 2 days remote. Scheduled weekly hours: 40.

Likely salary range: $142,792 – $189,750. Salary will be based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
